Danny’s Construction erected the structural steel for the new Target Field. The 40,000 seat open-air ballpark will be home to the Minnesota Twins in downtown Minneapolis at the start of the 2010 season.

Highlights on this project include the 125’ cantilevered trusses that make up the Metropolitan Club, the fourth largest scoreboard in baseball, the substantial welding, and the amazing sunshade that wraps around the entire infield.

Due to the congested, downtown location, the entire stadium had to be built from the inside out with 4 large crawler cranes.
